What You Will Learn in the IMS Master’s Program

Gain the skills to understand markets, develop customer-focused strategies, and manage business challenges in an international environment.

The International Marketing & Sales Master’s program at FH Münster is designed for students who want to build a career in global business, brand management, digital marketing, sales, consulting, or business development. Taught entirely in English, the program combines academic knowledge with practical projects and a strong focus on real business challenges.

Over four semesters, students gain expertise in areas such as customer relationship management, online marketing, data mining, intercultural management, leadership, and strategic sales. The curriculum helps students understand how companies enter new markets, build customer relationships, develop sales strategies, and make data-based marketing decisions.

A special feature of the program is its strong connection between theory and practice. Students work on case studies, applied projects, and current business topics while developing analytical, intercultural, and communication skills. The integrated study abroad semester offers the chance to gain additional global experience at one of FH Münster’s partner universities or through an international project.

With 120 ECTS credits and a clear four-semester structure, the program prepares graduates for responsible positions in companies, agencies, start-ups, or consulting firms. Whether you aim to work in Germany or abroad, the IMS Master’s program provides the knowledge, practical experience, and professional mindset needed for an international career.
